Printed Matter is thrilled to announce the next NY Art Book Fair at MoMA PS1 from September 11–14, 2025.
Exhibitor applications are now open through Monday, June 2 at 11:59 PM EST.
NYABF 2025 seeks to celebrate the important work of contemporary international artists’ publishing, while also highlighting historical and archival modes. The Fair features a broad range of artists and collectives, small presses, institutions, galleries, antiquarian booksellers, and distributors. The Fair will also present a full calendar of book launches, discussions, performances, and special projects that highlight interdisciplinary artists’ publishing practices.
Printed Matter's Art Book Fairs are book focused. When filling out the exhibitor application, please be specific and illustrate how the proposed table or project space will feature artists' books, catalogs, monographs, periodicals, zines, or related printed material. Applicants are required to submit images or videos of recent publication projects, as well as in-person displays and/or presentations. Exhibitors should not foreground prints, limited multiples, apparel, or original artwork.
Exhibitors are selected based on the strength of the application materials. Printed Matter strives to organize Art Book Fairs that are inclusive and take into consideration the richness and breadth of publishing from around the world. In your responses below, please make note of how your inclusion may expand or reinforce representation on the basis of identity, geography, and scale of publishing operations. We encourage all applicants to generously articulate their desire to participate.
We recognize that Printed Matter’s Art Book Fairs are a vital platform, and we anticipate receiving far more applications of merit than we will be able to accept. Our foremost goals are to continue to create opportunities for artists’ book publishers through visibility and distribution, to encourage conversation and exchange, and to nurture new and long-standing relationships.
Due to the high volume of submissions, exhibitors will be notified on a rolling basis regarding the status of their application. We anticipate that we will begin confirming placement in early July. Pricing for participation is tiered.
Notification of your application result will be sent via Submittable. Please double check your Submittable account settings so that you receive an e-mail notification for this communication.
